Long Way from Home Page 3
And with this post, we are back. I finally got my health issues under control and a regular schedule. Next week’s post is already on track, so I am pretty hopeful to continue this story uninterrupted all the way through the end.
You may be wondering where Chloe got that book, what with being all stranded on an island; but it is part of her personality to never be without reading material, regardless of circumstances.
Yeah, that’s a hand wave.
The Warthog has his own store of random artifacts from his strange life. You’ll learn more about that soon. Til then, have fun!

aaaaaand now I’m going to go back and track down my copy of Camus. I suspect it will be enlightening on many fronts (does anyone still read Camus?). ;-))
Probably not. 🙂
Chloe has an unusual background, being home schooled by her inventor scientist dad. Go back to the first story, he’s schooling her on Immanuel Kant. She’s suitably lost for her age.
Ah, Kant.
Es war einmal – once upon a time – “Critique of Pure Reason” was my bible ;-))
Self-legislating rational beings in the realm of ends forever, dude!
;-))
It’s been a long time since I studied either Kant or German, so kudos to you for remembering any of that. 🙂
My Kantian Phase was basically 1983 to about 1986 but I remember enough to be obnoxious at parties.
. . . really, really obnoxious ;-))
